Briefing

Like I said, the entire world wants to know what happened with Darrin Wade. And, Character, with everything that has gone down this entire time, they want to hear it straight from you.

What are you trying to say?

The press has gathered in one of our conference rooms and want to get your comments on everything that has happened along the way.

If you don't want to participate, you can feel free to just go up there, say a few words, and then leave. However, this is your chance for the spotlight, if you want. You've just saved the world from Rula-Wade. Maybe you want to clear things up, or maybe you want to do, I don't know, something else.

We'll have some Vanguard officials there providing security for you.

You step up to the podium and look over the numerous reporters who are present. All of them want to know the truth behind everything you've done with Darrin Wade and the Freedom Phalanx.

I'll be taking your questions now.

Tell us about your involvement with Synapse and Darrin Wade's obelisk! Synapse said you were the one who saved his life. How much involvement did you have in this?

Synapse did his best under the situation, but I was happy to help him. Next question.

You are known for helping to save Numina's father from the cult called the Rulu-Shin. What can you tell us about your experience and the role the Midnighters played?

The Midnighters were a great help, I couldn't have done it without them.

Regarding the scenario with Alexis Cole-Duncan's death. We understand you did your best in the situation. There has been much blame pinned on Manticore for trying to keep this a secret. Can you give us a comment regarding Manticore's actions during this crisis?

Manticore was doing what he thought was right, That's all you can ask.

Can you give us more information about the fate of Malaise in Sister Psyche's mind? We understand that he was killed trying to split Psyche's personality apart.

Malaise was insane, but I believe he could have been saved, like he was once before.

What is your judgment regarding Manticore's actions? Was he right in killing his own wife?

Why did you take Synapse's power, and were you planning on killing him?

I was merely testing the limits of the obelisk. Nothing more. Next question

I was using her father to get to the Rulu-Shin and stop them. Next question

Can you answer once and for all who killed Alexis Cole-Duncan?

We were told by Aurora Borealis that you played a very heavy role in the attack on Sister Psyche's mind.

What was your goal in doing this?

Psyche wrongly trapped another woman in there. I was simply trying to free her.

Who can the world turn to, now that Statesman is dead?

Statesman will live on in all of the heroes of Paragon. We are who they can turn to.

The Aurora Borealis from Psyche's mind remains in the body of Tyrka. Her plans for the future are unknown.

Glacia has been given permission to go back into the field and fight crime.
Leo Poggiani took over Blackbeard's tavern in Port Oakes and now makes sure no hero goes near it..

Specialist Greer is working on creating a hyper-advanced suit of armor to become a super hero in the PPD, much like Blue Steel.
Protector Z-958 has begun to exhibit some odd behavior after being controlled by Aurora Borealis. Crey is unsure what to do with this current model.

After Statesman's death, Positron was nominated to be the new leader of the Freedom Phalanx.
Ms. Liberty renewed her cause to try to redeem Lord Recluse.
Penelope Yin was inducted as the newest, and youngest, member of the Freedom Phalanx.

Well, Character, it's all finally over now. Lady Grey has ordered a squadron of Vanguard to stay with Darrin Wade at all times. From the reports I received, his mind is extremely damaged at this point. Wade barely remembers what happened, or who he even is. However, somewhere within the confines of his mind is the knowledge of Rularuu, something which we can all make good use of. If there's anything left of the original Darrin Wade, it's now trapped within the husk that is his body. I would feel sad for him, if I didn't think he got off lightly. I know people have already said this, Character, but thank you, for everything. The world is safe, well, as safe as it was before Darrin Wade, all thanks to you.
