Welcome!

Hello, SpaceNut, and welcome to the Paragon Wiki! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Feel free to fill out your personal user page so we can get to know you. There is a collection of Userboxes you can easily add there. Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

If you need help, ask me on my talk page or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Don't forget to drop by and introduce yourself in the Forum. It will require a separate registration (login and password), but most users use the same username in both places. There's even a RSS Feed, if you're into that.

Also, make sure you take a look at the Help page. There is a lot of preloaded images, missions, and contact info, and what you want to add might already be there.

Again, welcome! - Snorii 17:46, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Trying to create a template for movement commands

Trying to make a template for movement commands due to the multiple ways they work.

  • /command 0 - Stops the movement.
  • /command integer - Starts the movement when integer > 0.
  • /+command - Persists while a key is held down and cancels when released.
  • /++command - Persists until this command is given again.

Template would also automatically put the commands in the Slash Commands category and the Movement Commands category. Template works for the following commands which are currently not standardized:

This might at least help with linking the commands:

Moving Pains

Noticed your post on the CoH boards this morning. User page looks OK to me, but you may have spotted something I missed. Does it appear to be working for you now?

I do notice there are a couple of changes missing here in the section above from Oct. 5 and Oct. 7 though. I'll see if I can get that fixed for you. --Eabrace 12:23, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

It could be a browser issue, but the box on the right hand side of the template for my 50s says "File Complete" below the little blurb that says their server. SpaceNut 12:32, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Oh, that. Now I know what's going on.
That's actually part of the template and it's been there for at least a little while. Here's why it looks different, though.
I went in and cleaned up those templates a little bit the other day to get the description block to position itself in a more user-friendly manner rather than trying to center vertically on the blue or red bar with the character name. Before I did, I checked all of the user pages that were using those two templates. In doing so, I found that all of them had an odd little characteristic in the description blocks. Basically, they all ended in something like "texttext text texttext.File Complete". For example, Electrilux's description ended in "TriumphFile Complete". I thought that a bit odd, so while I was fixing the positioning issue, I went looking for that one, too. Turns out the template was using this for the text in the box:
{{{description|View}}}File Complete
I changed it to separate the "File Complete" from the rest of the description text (and removed the "|View" since it didn't appear to actually be doing anything - might have to revisit that.)
{{{description}}}<br />''File Complete''
So, in reality, it was there before, but it was camouflaging itself by blending in with the rest of the description text.
Tracing back, it appears that the text was added to the template on Sep. 16 by Rugiel. I'll go leave a message on his talk page and see if he (she? I never know on the net) would be OK with us taking that out of the template and adding it to his individual descriptions instead. --Eabrace 15:04, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

The Wrench

As my way of saying thanks for all the help you've given in hunting down dead, broken, and missing links and fixing them when you find them, I award you my Impervium Wrench. Keep up the good work, and thanks again! --Eabrace 16:54, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Yay! Thank you! SpaceNut 19:32, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

WIP work

Thanks for the recent WIP work, but please stop removing Historical sections from base items. The information does still exist, it's in the history of the article itself. ~ AGGE talk/cons 05:37, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Good call! I didn't even think about looking in the history of the article for that info. I'll add it when I get the chance. SpaceNut 15:50, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
