108 Salvage

Anything you wanted to do with 108 Salvage? We guess you made it to show the tiers, but there's no overview/description, and the page name is ... well, ambiguous at best. :p -- Aggelakis 07:10, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

CharInfoH and CharInfoV Templates

Something in the CharInfoH and CharInfoV templates came up in discussion today over at SpaceNut's talk page. I noticed that the issue is related to an edit you made in those templates on September 16. Any problems with us removing the "File Complete" text from the template? You could still add the text to each of your character descriptions if you want to keep it there. --Eabrace 15:11, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Eheh. Wow, is this an old message or what? I really didn't even notice that little bit of text vanished, I didn't even know it was causing trouble for anyone since I didn't think anyone else was even using my templates ... mostly I noticed that first the positioning went all out of whack (I think when I upgraded Firefox) and then mysteriously all went back INTO whack ... ANYWAY, yes I'm fine with having it removed; I'm happy someone knows how to get around my amateur templates better than I do. :) --Rugiel 15:26, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

File Name Typos

Regarding recently uploaded duplicate images with spelling corrections: The typos in those image names are actually in-game typos since those images were pulled directly from the in-game textures. (I don't think they've actually fixed the names in the resource files, but I'll look when I get a chance.) For future reference, when you encounter something like that, there's a "move" tab at the top of the page that should let you change the name of the file without having to upload a second copy. (At least, I think that option is there for non-admins on image pages.) --Eabrace 03:05, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

RE: No problem. Just be aware that you're likely to find a whole lot of images that fall into that same bucket because the devs seem to watch their spelling on file names even less than in the text.  :)
Admins can perform the move operation on files, so I always see the tab up there when I'm logged in. It's been a while, so I couldn't remember whether or not all users had file moving capabilities. Thanks for the reminder. --Eabrace 07:04, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
