Bugged?

Rodney appears to be bugged. If you have a character that already obtained a cape the old way before Rodney was added to the game, when that character reaches 30, it will be unable to get the aura mission. Instead, Rodney gives the cape mission even though you already have a cape.

Also, since whomever was intending to work on this has abandoned it (been flagged WIP for over a year), can we remove that template? Dark Horizon 23:36, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

That is not a bug. They reset every character's cape flag when they updated the hero side cape mission. ~ AGGE talk/cons 04:12, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Just because something hasn't been worked on in a long time doesn't mean the WIP tag should be removed. The note says a few bits of dialog are missing - I looked, and it's three pieces of info that are noted on the page, as well as the Aura mission entirely. If you want the WIP tag removed, grab those bits of dialog and the aura missions, and post them here. That's the point of the WIP tag - when someone starts working on a mission or page, and doesn't or can't finish it for whatever reason, others can. Felderburg 15:08, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Understood on the template, but Rodney is definitely bugged. I am now level 31, I obtained the cape mission again a level ago, and did both parts thinking maybe that was the way to get to the aura mission. No. I got the gold text "Capes Unlocked" even though I unlocked capes 11 levels ago, he does NOT have an aura mission for me, and auras have not been unlocked either via Facemaker or any trainer (I checked several). I imagine there is a template for bugs, but I don't know how to add one. Dark Horizon 00:01, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Template:Bug <-- Go there for info on the template. For future reference, if you type stuff in, then click "search", instead of one of the suggested pages that drop down from the search bar, it will take you to a search page (you often have to click the page to get rid of the suggested pages drop down). Unfortunately, it doesn't search things like templates by default, so you'll need to click "advanced" at the top of the search page, which will display a bunch of check boxes to search, including templates and categories and other things.
