Thanks, once again...
Hey, thanks for the update once again. I'll try to finish revising this article tonight. This is one that I entered waaaay back when Croatoa was still in beta on the test server. I know at least the first mission is different, probably more. --TonyV 18:57, 7 Feb 2006 (CST)

Introduction
I'd like you to make a little trip up north, Character. There's a friend of mine named Gordon Bower who could really use your help. Gordon's the mayor of a little resort village named Salamanca. Lately the atmosphere up there has been... well, weird. Disturbing. Deadly, even. There's far too much for me to explain, and you might not believe me if I did. You'll just have to see it for yourself.

The village's name is Salamanca, but people have been calling the area Croatoa lately. You'll see why once you get there.

Briefing
Thank you for coming. As you can see, Salamanca isn't a nice place to live. Not anymore. We've got a few amateur mystics trying to keep our town safe, but we need more than their spells, Varasin. We need you. I know Salamanca's problems aren't the only ones you face. Come at any time, and I will be grateful for your help.
Arc Award Merits #
I noticed it was changed. Is the new # (27) what it was on live? I have no idea if any of the private servers have bumped up merit rewards, so I'm just checking that the original amount did need changing to be in line with what it was on live. Felderburg (talk) 21:10, 26 September 2019 (UTC)
