Nocturnal Oneiromancies

Alignment Mission

All of a sudden, you just remembered a dream you had last night. You were in a cavernous system, deep below the ground and there were people chanting. One looked up at you, but his face changed to one giant eyeball. The eyeball said but one thing:

The treasure has chosen you. We watch over it, waiting for you. Claim your destiny.

Come to think of it, you've been having that dream for a number of nights now. Maybe... maybe there really is some treasure out there waiting for you?

HERO: Take a chance...

Briefing

Something about this seems fishy. But then again, you're not one to be caught off guard. And you're also not one to walk away from a gamble. And you're ESPECIALLY not one to walk away from free treasure - even if it is from some creepy guy who has an eyeball for a head.

If this *is* some elaborate trap, you know you'd be able to work your way out of it somehow. On the other hand, if you ignore this chance to be handed over a handful of shinies... well, maybe you don't deserve to call yourself a rogue.

  • Risk it!

You try to remember more of your dream - you know, just in case there ARE people with eyeball heads. All you can remember about it is the path you walked to get to the caves.

That's probably the best place to start looking, wouldn't you say?

Unnecessary Solicitation

If you're going to get your hands on the free treasure, you had best get moving! You try to remember more of your dream - you know, just in case there ARE people with eyeball heads. All you can remember about it is the path you walked to get to the caves.

That's probably the best place to start looking, wouldn't you say?

Mission Objective(s)

Well, these sure do look like the same caves in your dreams. Now to see if you've been set up.

  • Collect your treasure!
    • Find the Oneiromancer from your dreams.
    • Speak with the Lucid Oneiromancer
    • Abandon the Oneiromancer and find the Oculus instead!
    • Save the Oneiromancers before they all die.
    • Speak with the Lucid Oneiromancer
    • Find the True Oculus chest

Debriefing

Gazing into the Oculus...

Seeing yourself standing among the heroes of Paragon City as a friend...

Seeing yourself... as one of them.
