Overview

Issue 23 introduced badges primarily related to the new Night Ward zone, as well as the new Magisterium Trial. In addition, several badges were changed to reflect that Statesman and Sister Psyche were removed from the game.

For Heroes and Villains, it added 8 Exploration badges, 6 Accomplishment badges, 6 Achievement badges, 2 Accolade badge, and 5 Defeat badges. In total, 27 badges were introduced for Heroes and Villains upon the release of Issue 23.

For Praetorians, it added 8 Exploration badges, 6 Accomplishment badges, 6 Achievement badges, 2 Accolade badges, and 5 Defeat badges. In total, 27 badges were introduced for Praetorians upon the release of Issue 23.

Exploration Badges

Night Ward

There were eight badges added to Night Ward with Issue 23.

Accomplishment Badges

There were six Accomplishment badges added with Issue 23.

	The Once and Future King	(Complete the story arc from Pendragon)
	One of the Eight	Complete the Night Ward story arc
	Imperial City's Savior	Complete the story arc from Belladonna Vetrano	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Embodiment of Law	Complete the personal story mission from Emperor Cole	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Enemy of the State	Complete the Magisterium Trial	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Penelope Yin's Friend / Penelope Yin's Betrayer	Complete the Penelope Yin Task Force

Achievement Badges

There were six Achievement badges added with Issue 23.

	Triple Threat	Defeat all three Archvillains during the Battle Royale stage of the Magisterium Trial within 5 seconds of the first one's defeat	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Ready to Rumble	Defeat Black Swan sooner than 8 minutes after entering the Magisterium	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Shadow Master	Never allow Black Swan to open all six Shadow Rifts simultaneously in the Magisterium Trial	Requires a VIP subscription.
	The Hard Way	Defeat Tyrant during the final battle of the Magisterium Trial without destroying more than 12 Lights of the Well	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Master of Magisterium	Earn the Triple Threat, Ready to Rumble, Shadow Master, and The Hard Way badges	Requires a VIP subscription.
	The Really Hard Way	Defeat Tyrant during the final battle of the Magisterium Trial without destroying any Lights of the Well	Requires a VIP subscription.

Accolade Badges

There were two Accolade badges added with Issue 23.

	Hybrid Unlocked	Unlock your Hybrid Incarnate slot	Requires a VIP subscription.
	Ethereal Drifter	Collect all eight exploration badges in Night Ward

Defeat Badges

There were five Defeat badges added with Issue 23.

	Watches the Watchers	Defeat 100 points worth of The Black Knights
	Keeper of Beasts	Defeat 100 points worth of Spirit Stalkers
	Sorcerer's Apprentice	Defeat 100 points worth of Animus Arcana
	Lawbreaker	Defeat 100 points worth of Drudges
	Positron's Pal / (Villain Version)	Complete the story arc from Maria Jenkins

Changed Badges

Accomplishment Badges

The following Hero/Villain badges had their requirements changed with Issue 23.

	Sister Psyche's Comrade / Sister Psyche's Betrayer	Complete the Sister Psyche Task Force in Flashback
	Saved the World / Saved the World... For Later	Changed to reference Ms. Liberty to reflect Statesman's removal from the game

Changed to Master of Ms. Liberty's Task Force to reflect Statesman's removal from the game

The following Hero/Villain badges had their descriptions changed with Issue 23.

	Oppressor	Changed to reference Ms. Liberty to reflect Statesman's removal from the game
	Interrogator	Changed to reference Penelope Yin to reflect Sister Psyche's removal from the game

Defeat Badges

The following Hero/Villain badge had its descriptions changed with Issue 23.

Ex-Archvillain / Archvillain

Changed to reference the Freedom Phalanx to reflect Statesman's removal from the game
