Hero Gear Kit

Due to community objections of a "special release" of the game so soon after launch, in-game items were also made briefly available through the online purchase of the City of Heroes Hero Gear Kit (which is no longer available) through the PlayNC Store. The kit was a physical item mailed to the customer, which contained the activation code and extra merchandise from the DVD Collector's Edition, but without the game itself or the box. This kit was limited availability (being part of "Collector's Edition") and has long since sold out.

In-Game Items
