City of Heroes Architect Edition is a retail version of City of Heroes released on April 14, 2009. It includes City of Heroes, City of Villains, and a choice of one of two special booster packs. Unlike older retail versions, the installation media include all issues of the game up to and including Issue 13.

Features of the Architect Edition:

  • One month of online play
  • A choice between two exclusive in-game item packs, the Cyborg Pack or the Magic Pack
  • Cityof Heroes
  • City of Villains
  • Mission Architect
  • 13 content updates (known as issues)
