Personell Info: Alexander Coban; Status: Owner, manager

Background: Alex Coban lead a prosperous life. He was the owner of the largest hardware design company in the World, and one of the richest men alive. His enormous fortune was eventually his downfall, unfortunately. He caught the eyes of Crey Corporation who, unknown to most of the population, was secretely a massive criminal organization. Originally abducted for his money, Alex was also used in the testing of many of Crey’s super-soldier experiments. Alex Coban was eventually released, half dead onto the streets—a failed experiment. He plead with Ms. Liberty to investigate Crey Corporation, but she explained that the huge company was paid off with enough people that an investigation would go nowhere. As time went by, Coban began showing strange symptoms. Again, he went to Ms. Liberty, who decided Crey’s experimentation had given Alex the power to manipulate fire. Upon urging, Alex Coban registered himself as a hero under the identity “InnocentBystand”—irony based on his abduction. Alex Coban has started his own investigation into Crey Corporation’s abductions. Coban has uncovered countless secrets that could go a long way toward undermining Crey’s authority and prestige. As Coban’s power grew, he began helping with other tasks. In 2007, he registered with Vanguard to help fithe off the returned Rikti threat. He has since been involved in many raids on the crased Rikti mothership. During one of these raids, the unthinkable happened. After planting an A-bomb, Alex was incapacitated by a nearby Rikti hardsuit. Coban used the power of the Phoenix, to be revived, but at that moment the bomb went off, killing him. As Alex was losing his grip on life, a kheldian being happened to be nearby, watching. In a desperate attempt to save Alex’s life, the kheldian fused itself with Alex’s body. The new power brought Alex back to consciousness, and magnified his power. He now can either use his previous powers or his new inherent kheldian powers, but for some reason, never both at the same time.

Personell Info: Thomas Coban; Status: Heir, Designer

Background: After Alex Coban was dumped from the Crey Corporation building, Alex’s wife, Jennifer Coban, had a son. They named the son Thomas, who grew into a normal boy—or so they thought. When Tom was fourteen years old, he was still growing normally. Toward Tom’s fifteenth birthday, he began showing an incredible temper. On his fifteenth birthday, Tom began doing odd things with fire. He showed his father’s own powers. As Tom’s powers developed, he learned to control them differently. Instead of shields and weapons, Tom could conjure up cages made of pure flame, and eventually little nameless demons made of flame. With his fire powers came mastery of his surroundings, allowing Tom to siphon any form of energy from one organism to another. Tom eventually went to Ms. Liberty, and took the name Kinofernal to carry his father’s heroic legacy.
