A promising student of Paragon Technical Institute, Keith Sterling was horribly injured when a transformer in his lab exploded. The robotic arm which he had been working on was able to replace his damaged flesh, but the loss of his mentor haunts him. He learned from the legendary hero Citadel that the Clockwork had sabotaged his lab, causing the explosion. In desperation, he sought out the Clockwork, determined to destroy as many as he could. They nearly killed him, but in desperation he hit them with his robotic arm and disabled them. Finding that he now had a stronger than normal arm he worked to improve his power. He constructed armbands to store charge, which he can release at an enemy. Once a respected particle physicist, Paul Stoffel helped develop the original particle shields to help reinforce the war wall technology. He even developed hand held shield projectors, which were to be a revolutionary way for heroes to protect civilians in the event of another Rikti invasion. Then, while listening to his iPod during a high energy experiment, his arm was caught in the beam, and the overloaded iPod arced to his brain. He went insane, and recruited a few of his less savory friends to help him claim the fame that was so rightfully his! | Once a respected particle physicist, Paul Stoffel helped develop the original particle shields to help reinforce the war wall technology. Not today, punk!
I spend my days stopping pieces of paper, so I'll have no problem putting you down. You may have seen me on TV. That bill to give amnesty to gang members? Filibustered. Shorter prison terms? Filibustered.
You want to know who I really am? I'm sorry, that's a "Capitol Offense".

As a fledgling hero, Electrilux accepted a mission to find the homeless people that had gone missing from a local shelter, and never returned to the surface after entering the sewers. Months later there emerged a strange tale of a blue-skinned Rikti, and the Multiversal Champions decided to investigate the rumors. They found Electrilux, mutated and renamed. They were able to rescue him, and eventually return him to the path of heroism. Although he had lost his electrical powers, he had gained proficiency with Rikti weapons, and had mutated into a much stronger being. No longer Electrilux, he is now Luc'Trilex!

Upon achieving the pinnacle of his villain career, he learned the truth, and found that his son was taken by the Menders of Ouroboros to protect the people of the present. The frozen son, as he came to be called, was put in isolation at the hospital. A few weeks after he was born, he mysteriously vanished, leaving tendrils of ice on his crib. After Paragon City was nearly destroyed in the Rikti War, Frozen Son was sent to the present by those who had taken him as an infant. Having been raised in the 23rd century, he learned to use the great cold he produces. Because he knows the great damage he can create, he acts mainly in defense, letting others deal damage. After many years of travel in stasis, she arrived on Earth soon after the Rikti attack and it's aftermath. Her capsule landed in the peaks of the Himalayas, where monks of the Shaolin order were her first contact with humanity. She learned of the Rikti devastation and slowly made her way to Paragon City, travelling through much of Asia and learning the martial arts techinques that she uses to fight crime today. Her native planet is a much rougher environment, and though she is normal on her home planet, she was required to register as a superbeing upon entry into Paragon City. She heals at an incredible rate compared to normal humans, though some human mutants can match her capabilities. The relative low gravity of Earth allows her to travel great distances with little effort, and only the combined efforts of various metahuman villains can put her in any danger.

It all started with a job application at Chipotle...
She got put on the griddle, cooking and chopping meat. Turns out she was good at it. Really good at it. She was the fastest chopper in the history of the company. They had to get her new blades that wouldn't wear out as fast. Then she got fast enough that the friction from the blades cooked the meat without a griddle. She now surrounds herself with sparks from the blades that keep her safe, and every burrito comes with a side of justice.

Grow...
Sun. Find sun. Water. Need water.
Grow... No sun! Roots... cold...
Different. I feel different. These thoughts! And I can see... and hear... and speak...
You! Creature! What are you!
Human? Scientist? Did you do this to me? To my roots, and my petals, and my buds?
Dr. Aeon under orders from Lord Recluse... They will pay for this transgression in good time. They will pay for this defacement of my being!
But you, my dear scientist... You will be the first to pay. Oh don't struggle. It'll be over soon. After all, you took away my roots and I must feed somehow. You will be remembered as the one who gave life to the new ruler of the plant kingdom. Posthumously, of course.
Now, to begin my search for these humans, Aeon and Recluse. They will pay for this as the scientist did. I will find the top, open myself to the sun...
And grow...
