Overview
Chris Chung was an executive with NCsoft from 2004 to 2009.
Chris began his career in the gaming industry in early 2003 when he became the business manager of ArenaNet (Guild Wars production company). He became the VP of Publishing for NC Interactive in late 2004, and the senior VP of Publishing for NCsoft's global operations in mid-2005. After NC Interactive, NC Europe, NC Austin and ArenaNet were merged to form NCsoft West in September 2007, he became the CEO of the company in January 2008, replacing Robert Garriott. He was removed as CEO in May 2009 and replaced by Jaeho Lee, although he remained on the executive team of NCsoft West until October 2009, when he joined Trion Worlds as their Chief Strategy Officer.
