This category contains 35 distinct templates. Of these, only 11 are actually used:
* MedHero, MedRogue, MedVig, MedVillain, SmHero, SmRogue, SmVig, and SmVillain are used solely on [[Alignment Mission]]
* TinyHero, TinyPrae, and TinyVillain are used extensively in badge articles
Thus 24 templates are unused, including two size categories which are wholly unused (large and huge).

Instead of 35 templates which all do minor variations of the same thing, the majority of which are unused, I propose we consolidate this into this template I just created: {{tl|AI}}. A call such as <nowiki>{{TinyHero}}</nowiki> would be replaced by <nowiki>{{AI|Hero|Tiny}}</nowiki>.

A similar template already existed at {{tl|AlignmentIcon}}, but it uses different icons and syntax. Plus its name is much longer, and I suspect that a major reason for creating 35 distinct templates was to keep the template calls short. My proposed replacement only adds a mere 4 characters.

If there are no objections, I can sic my bot on the wiki and have it update the relevant template calls (it's a very simple change). I'll leave this open for discussion for a bit though in case someone has objections. -- [[User:Sekoia|Sekoia]] 07:28, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
